What is Aures ?
Aures is an open source project that aims to provide a poker game suite (client & server) for Linux and compatible, the project has been initiated 2 years ago, and it reached a reasonable stage today, a playable version is imminent.
Why Aures ?
Because there's no rich online and multi player card games for Linux, indeed, Aures aims to provide users with a very powerful and highly extensible software that fits the base requirements of a good card game and more.
Thus, Aures uses an open protocol based on IRC and integrating IPP v2 (Internet Poker Protocol Version 2) that offers the possiblity to create its own tables just like IRC works with channels.
May I contribute ?

Does Aures have source code somewhere?
Sure, the project sources and bug tracking are hosted at Launchpad.
